What is DubTurbo?
DubTurbo is basically software that helps you make music or beats (a beat is the instrumental part of a rap or hip hop song). You download and install it on your computer. It includes such things as a sequencer and drum editor. To put together a piece, all you do is point and click with your mouse.
Who is DubTurbo For?
DubTurbo is a beat maker that is designed for the beginner to use. Unlike higher end solutions such as Cubase and Fruity Loops, it doesn't require as much time and expense to learn how to use it. The DubTurbo site claims you can make your first beat after 10 minutes and some people have actually done that.
Why is DubTurbo So Great?
The thing that many people like about DubTurbo is that they don't have to mess with music theory to figure out how to use it. People who bought it are given free video tutorials that show them how to use it without any experience in making music. That's a big plus when you don't want to spend big bucks and years learning before you make one piece of music with the higher end solutions.
How Does DubTurbo Compare to Other Beat Makers?
On the other end of the spectrum are other beat makers that are also targeted to people who don't know anything about music or making beats. They take advantage of that fact and don't include as many features as DubTurbo. They basically want you on their mailing lists so they can spam you with offers, all the while you aren't getting an education on music production or really making beats you can one day sell for a profit.
What Features Does DubTurbo Have?
These other beat makers are missing standard features that DubTurbo includes such as being able to export beats in studio quality 44.1 stereo 16 bit.wav files; gives you 32 bars instead of just one to play with; and being able to parse and add your own sounds.
Should You Buy DubTurbo?
With DubTurbo you are getting everything a beginning beat maker needs and more to start making beats and to grow as your skills improve. I don't think there is anything else out there that comes close to what DubTurbo has to offer...
