The Rolling Stones Music - A Short History

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

The Rolling Stones is one of the most popular rock band in history. They are an English rock band that was started in April of 1962. It was founded by Brian Jones (guitar and harmonica), Mick Jagger (vocalist), Keith Richards (guitar), and Ian Stewart (pianist). During their early years, the band was content with playing rhythm and blues music and cover songs of mostly American hit rock songs. They only started to get fame when they started writing their own songs, reinventing themselves as a true rock and roll band and launching the Rolling Stones music generations of fans have learned to enjoy.

The Rolling Stones Music - A Short History

The band's early history.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were friends way back in the 1950s and they shared the same passion for rock music especially for Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters music. They soon met with Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, and Charlie Watts. The group then decided to play blues music together and would practice with the intention of starting their own rhythm and blues band.

Muddy Waters had a clear influence on the band, not only with the Rolling Stones music, but most especially with their names. As claimed by Keith Richards, it was Brian Jones who thought of the band's name. Jones was on the phone placing an advertisement for the band on a magazine. When he was asked what was the name of the band, Jones noticed the Muddy Waters LP near him and picked the song "Rolling Stone".

Two major forces contributed to the early success of the Rolling Stones. The first one is the stepping in of Andrew Loog Oldham as the band's manager and producer in 1963. He was credited for giving the band its bad boy image as a complete reversal of the good boy image of The Beatles who were enjoying tremendous success in the 60s.

He also got the band's first record deal with Decca Records who gave them favorable terms. It was said because of the guilt that the executives of Decca felt at that time for passing on The Beatles. As a result, the Rolling Stones got better royalty rates and more artistic freedom for their songs and albums.

The second great thing that worked to the advantage of the Rolling Stones was the Mick Jagger and Keith Richards songwriting collaboration. It was in a way to imitate the success met with the Lennon/McCartney songwriting duo. It also paved the way for the band to graduate into becoming a band that plays its own songs as to what they were previously doing, just covering songs.

There have been many changes in the line up of the band, but the most prominent was the departure of Brian Jones, considered by many as the true founder of the Rolling Stones. Jones died in 1969 due to drowning.

There is more to the history of the band, but just like with any other rock and roll group, oftentimes it is its early years that are deemed most important. Because it was the era when the Rolling Stones music was forged, developed, and the fans continued to love and enjoy.

The History of Rap and Hip Hop Music

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

The origin of hip-hop can be traced back as far as the ancient tribes in Africa. Rap has been compared with the chants, drumbeats and foot-stomping African tribes performed before wars, the births of babies, and the deaths of kings and elders. Historians have reached further back than the accepted origins of hip-hop. It was born as we know it today in the Bronx, cradled and nurtured by the youth in the low-income areas of New York City.

The History of Rap and Hip Hop Music

Fast-forward from the tribes of Africa to the ghettos of Kingston, Jamaica in the late sixties. The impoverished of Kingston gathered together in groups to form DJ conglomerates. They spun roots and culture records and communicated with the audience over the music. At the time, the DJ's comments weren't as important as the quality of the sound system and its ability to get the crowd moving. Kool Herc grew up in this community before he moved to the Bronx.

During the late sixties, reggae wasn't popular with New Yorkers. As a DJ, Kool Herc spun rhythm and blues records to please his party crowd. But, he had to add his personal touch. During the breaks, Herc began to speak to his audience as he had learned to do in Jamaica. He called out, the audience responded, and then he pumped the volume back up on the record. This call and response technique was nothing new to this community who'd been reared in Baptist and Methodist churches where call and response was a technique used by the speakers to get the congregation involved. Historians compare it to the call and response performed by Jazz musicians and was very much a part of the culture of Jazz music during the renaissance in Harlem.

Herc's DJ style caught on. His party's grew in popularity. He began to buy multiple copies of the same albums. When he performed his duties as a DJ, he extended the breaks by using multiple copies of the same records. He chatted, as it is called in dance hall, with his audience for longer and longer periods.

Others copied Herc's style. Soon a friendly battle ensued between New York DJs. They all learned the technique of using break beats. Herc stepped up the game by giving shout-outs to people who were in attendance at the parties and coming up with his signature call and response. Other DJs responded by rhyming with their words when they spoke to the audience. More and more DJs used two and four line rhymes and anecdotes to get their audiences involved and hyped at these parties.

One day, Herc passed the microphone over to two of his friends. He took care of the turn table and allowed his buddies to keep the crowd hyped with chants, rhymes and anecdotes while he extended the breaks of different songs indefinitely. This was the birth of rap as we know it.

Hip-hop has evolved from the days of the basement showdowns to big business in the music industry. In the seventies and eighties, the pioneers and innovators of the rap record was the DJ. He was the guy who used his turntable to create fresh sounds with old records. Then, he became the guy who mixed these familiar breaks with synthesizers to produce completely new beats. Not much has changed in that aspect of hip-hop. The guy who creates the beat is still the heart of the track. Now, we call him the producer. Even though some DJs work as producers as well as DJs (quite a few start out as DJs before they become producers), today's title "DJ" doesn't carry the same connotative meaning it did in the eighties. Today's hip-hop producer performs the same tasks as the eighty's DJ.

Oktoberfest

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Prost!

Oktoberfest

Blatt that tuba, blare that trumpet

Swing that tune, beat it! jump it!

A German band can get your heart bumping,

Your fingers tapping, your two feet stomping.

I know that song! My grandfather sang it!

In the German chorus where he rang it.

Play another one! Don't let them rest!

I'll meet you at the Octoberfest!

At every carnival and festival all over the world, music touches that primeval place in our brains that lifts our spirits and binds us together. The original Octoberfest was just a fancy wedding celebration for the King of Bavaria in 1810. Although the wedding date was set for October 17th, the party starts in mid September and lasts through the beginning of October. A grand opening parade with decorated beer wagons pulled by pampered Clydesdale horses marches through Munich and lasts for hours.

For sheer size, the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany dwarfs every other emulator. Twelve tents house over ten thousand merry makers each. Like giant redwood tree trunks, three massive poles soar to dizzying heights, sheltering three twenty piece Gerrman bands. One tent features a giant ox roasting on a huge turning spit, keeping the chefs busy basting the ox with spices. Choice seats simulating local beer stubes line the sides. Tables are reserved for months in advance by Munich corporations for their employees. I was fortunate one year to know someone who had a spot for me and my wife at the Hackerbrau table. We had a grand time 'schuttling' back and forth to songs my grandfather sang.

If you have heard that Oktoberfest beer is stronger, you have not been lied to. The special beer is timed to perfection for the festival, resulting in a slightly darker color, rich in hops flavor, and topped by a fine-grained head of foam. A one liter mug (mass) will put you into a good mood for hours. As one strolls down the wide avenues, enticing aromas assault the senses. Spit-roasted half chickens, broiled smelts-on-a-stick (steckerl fish), and roasted honey almond treats are all irresistible.

The main concourse is lined with quaint rides and interesting side shows. A house-sized barrel caught my eye that turned out to sell only fancy German chocolate candies in every variation imaginable. Strings of four to eight strollers singing German songs dance down the alley, sometimes apologizing for sweeping visitors along with them, other times not. Police 'Kontrollers' keep a sharp eye out for rowdy behavior, allowing some partying, but ejecting anyone who disturbs the peace. The original Octoberfest epitomizes the word 'Gemutlichkeit' and visitors the world over take away with them that warm, friendly feeling to spread around at home.

Purchase Cheaper iPods - Great Way To Enjoy Music

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Portability is everything. The new generation of your adults is now vulnerable without them. From mobile phones to their audio players, they are nothing but lost without their mini portable gadgets. No more constraints of those ugly cable or wires. The powers of satellite, Bluetooth, infrareds and lithium ion batteries give amazing benefits to the world of the portable gadgets.

Purchase Cheaper iPods - Great Way To Enjoy Music

Apple's iPod is the most coveted of the portable wireless devices ever made. This gadgets does ways with brining a CD player that's bulky. Plus the CD player needs constant changing it's CD. This can be very annoying to the user. Not the iPod, this gadget can store up to 500 songs in one small compartment. It is the best alternative technology has to offer the audio freaks of this century. But, it is rather nasty on the budget. When it first came out, it was sold for 9 USD. This limited the users to the upper classes. But, like all products that are in demand it will not be long before competitors come up with their own version. Any engineer or computer wizard can dissect it and come up with a new version that does not come as expensive.

Cheaper version then flooded the market soon afterwards. These versions are not exactly imitations of the original iPod. They are unknown brands which use less expensive materials and were not highly invested on product development and research. That is why they are more affordable than Apple iPod. They come close to the original as far as memory capacity is concerned. Storing up to 120 songs, they come with a 512 MB like the shuffle.

Being low on budget is no surprise to everyone. Buying gadgets are always rivaled by the necessities of everyday living. That's the purpose of having the more inexpensive MP3 portable audio players. They come for only USD and they also have nearly the same features as the iPod. Now, having to own a portable audio player will not be denied to the public.

Of course, in any marketplace or profit generating commodity competition is a must. These cheap iPods are not new to this arena. They junk down their prices to have a taste of the market share. Finding a nich that are hungry to have a piece of the original iPod, it was phenomenally successful. Within their own right, they too compete with each other. A variety of memory capacity is another way to beat one another. As well as, size and stylishness of their design are also great vantage point to contend as rivals would. More and more, these cheaper versions reached a certain apex of respectability.

Inline with this competition, there have been advances relating to these cheap versions. The makers contrive to make their own line of products better than what Apple iPods came up with. Take for example the Shuffle, their version are smaller and less heavy with 1GB for its memory span. Almost the same yet a little better, this is what keeps these cheaper versions good at what they have come up with. It may not be branded as what the real thing is, yet it can walk side by side with it head on. Some can even trick the naked eye with its appearance. They really don't intend to claim that they are iPods but they have physical similarities that are watertight. This is tagged at a hundred US dollars. Still, it is a far cry from the three hundred US dollars of the actual cost to buy the original. For 240 playing songs, this is by far a good find.

Saving a buck or two is always a good thing. When luxury is limited to the buying public because of its exclusivity or price range, rest assured that it will not be long before an ingenious plot to destroy it is concocted. Technology is suppose to be indiscriminating and for everybody's disposal. That's why breaking monopoly is never a crime. This is the best rule of thumb that any economist lives by. Where there is ample opportunity to generate money there's always competition to get the gear of development going.

This is the best thing that can happen to any consumer who would like to strike a balance between enjoying the small comforts of what techie gadgets can offer and not completely becoming bankrupt in the process.

Hit Songwriting in Six Easy Steps

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Hit songwriting in pop music has become increasingly easier to predict by music industry insiders and music fans alike. Not too long ago, in pop music, there was a wide variety of musical tastes by major labels, and no one could really put a finger on which song would be a sure hit.

Hit Songwriting in Six Easy Steps

But lately major labels have been settling for nothing but the "sure thing," a good-looking singer or band with very little musical substance they can mass market and stick down the consumers' throats! Consequently, pop music has become so poor and watered-down that it's much easier to spot something original with the potential to rule the music charts!

Top 40 pop songs these days usually have great "hooks" but poorly written lyrics in the verses, rendering the majority of them nothing but "here today gone tomorrow hits." This is not good practice for songwriters who are in it for the long haul because once these songs run their course, most are rarely played again, and that amounts to less profit for the songwriter over the life of the song!

Pop hit songwriting these days usually consists of nothing but a good beat with pasted-on lyrics to them in the verses with very little focus, and very singable choruses to hook the listeners. Mix in a well-known rapper on some of these songs and voila, a hit! If you're not into music production or beat making, there are many awesome beat-makers out there willing to either collaborate or sell their beats at a fairly modest price.

Here's how to write a hit song in today's pop music market:

1. Focus first on who will be singing the song and what style it'll be whether it's in pop, r&b, rock, etc. Decide what you want your song to be about and pick a song title(you don't have to re-invent the wheel), i.e., "I Need You," (self-explanatory) "Whatever" (a song about - you're not going to change your mind about something) "Far Away," (a song about - I wish you were here with me), etc. Hit songwriting titles these days tend to use one to three words in the title, i.e., "Disturbia," "Closer."

2. Create or buy an awesome beat for the song if it's in r&b or most types of pop, and if it's a song with a much more "live" feel wait until the next step (3) before proceeding.

3. Create an original strong, singable hook that you can't get out of your mind after hearing it a few times. If you can't come up with this, chances are you will not have a hit song. Once you do have a strong hook, proceed to (4).

4. Write decent verses. If you really want to stand out, take the time to craft some awesome verses!

5. Make sure your song has no empty spaces in it. Even if you're playing it on guitar or piano, create fills and riffs to bracket the vocals. Pop songs today have NO empty spaces. The music is more intense and "in your face" than ever.

6. If you believe your song has the potential to be a hit, test out the song or songs on your friends and family members who listen to pop radio. Their reaction is usually the right one!

Hip Hop Beats Instrumentals - 3 Techniques on Making Instrumentals With Hip Hop Beats Creative

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Hip hop beats as instrumentals for you or someone else to rap over are some of the most fun aspects of being into hip hop music. Rather then relying on a group of musicians to all get along together and write a song, the beats producer is a one man band of sorts...drawing up on his inspiration to convey a musical message. Such a message can be difficult to convey and get out of your mind. Oftentimes, the end result will sound absolutely nothing like what you were hearing in your mind. Sometimes this is okay, if you are comfortable with working with what you have... if you know how to turn lemons into lemonade so to speak.

Hip Hop Beats Instrumentals - 3 Techniques on Making Instrumentals With Hip Hop Beats Creative

But for most noobs trying to craft the perfect hip hop beats instrumentals, getting the ideas out of your head can be a frustrating task. You spend all day with these melodies and beats churning around in your overactive mind, but when it comes down to laying down these beats into your favorite software...you either come up blank or the end result is nothing you'd want to let even your best friend listen to. Been there, done that.

Here are some simple tips that will let you get your phat beats out of your head:

  • Record Your Voice: Use a tape recorder or a digital recorder, or even your cell phone. Get out of your project studio and go do some chores around the house or take a walk around the block. Any melody that pops into your head, record it! Then when you're back in your studio, try to translate your melodies and beats into your software. You'd be surprised the awesome stuff that come come out of your head when you're doing something other than hitting MPC pads, or clicking on a piano roll or step sequencer!
  • Coffee or and caffeinated beverage: Most people say drugs are a no no when it comes to music or life in general...but I say if we could make an exception it would be caffeine. Caffeine can make the most wildest ideas flow.
  • Hang out with other beat makers: Few things are better to get ideas for hip hop beats and instrumentals than hanging out with other beat makers. Watch them work and learn from them. There's so many thing that you could be doing to limit your creativity that you could correct if you could just watch someone who is doing it the right way.

These are just some of the ideas. As you keep making beats, you will learn how to learn. Sounds funny but it is very true.

Sell Beats Online Secrets

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Beat makers all over the world are passing up some of the best money making opportunities available to them. If you're trying to become a music producer and you're not paying attention to the changing industry, then it's all too apparent that you're out of luck. Trying to use the same old methods over and over again (for instance, contacting several major labels who don't care about your beats) when beat selling can be made easier.

Sell Beats Online Secrets

Beat selling online is the new medium for all producers who are interested in making money without needing to deal with record labels and all their technicalities. Most labels don't have any time to hear what you have to say, and the ones that do are both rare and hard to come by. If you wanted to sell your beats online, however, you'd be selling directly to the artist. Most of the guys you sell to aren't even signed, so they're very approachable.

In today's industry there are more producers making beats than at any other point in history. With music programs such as Reason 4, Fruity Loops and Garage Band, beat making has become extremely low cost and easy. You don't need a huge studio worth almost as much as your whole house anymore. A simple program and some decent speakers are literally all that's necessary in today's production business.

If you've been thinking about learning how to become a music producer by selling beats on the internet, now is the time to start. The competition online is only getting way more intense, and it's becoming far too apparent that even some teenagers have been able to crack this medium... Perhaps its because kids are more into the digital age, but most of the top sellers on Soundclick are 17-23 years old.

It's easy to assume that all you have to do is post up some beats on Soundclick and you'll automatically start pulling in sales. This is untrue for many reasons. First of all, your page has to be right when it comes to content and how it's set up. If you don't have a Buy Now button set up on your page, then you've instantly lost 80% of all sales. If that Buy Now button doesn't have a clear call to action, you've lost another half.

Beat selling information can be hard to come by for many reasons (mostly because want to-be-producers are putting out courses acting like they actually know how to sell beats), but I recommend visiting the links in the resource box/paragraph below. Join the free mailing list and if you want to learn the advanced stuff, download the eBooks for .95 and you'll be given the step by step instruction manual for selling beats.

The Benefit of Using Soundfonts in Instrumental Music Production

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Are you a music producer or beat maker into making various hip hop instrumentals, rap beats, or other types of instrumentals?  Have you ever come across the term "soundfont" or the file ".sf2"?  Have you ever wondered what they were, or how they were used?  Or did you bypass them when making hip hop beats in hopes of finding WAV audio files for your production needs instead?  Ever wonder if those soundfonts you passed by would've been helpful in making beats or instrumentals?

The Benefit of Using Soundfonts in Instrumental Music Production

Exactly what is a Soundfont?  Well, while I won't go into the detailed programming logistics of it all, I will summarize to say that Soundfonts are files labeled as "SF2" files that are simply a combined number of WAV audio files put together into one file called a Soundfont.  Whether the audio files are hip hop samples, music instrument sounds, or even drum samples and sounds, any of these types of files can be combined into Soundfonts as long as the files are WAV files.  You can compare Soundfonts in similarity to Reason Refills which are also a various assortment of different WAV audio files combined into a Refill file and used with the Reason music production sequencing software.

So, now that you have a bit more information on what a Soundfont actually is, what makes soundfonts beneficial to use?  Some people shy away from them because they say that the quality is greatly reduced.  This is not actually the case however.  While WAV files will more than likely be the most clear audio files to use in making music, Soundfonts are also very close in quality (unless you've managed to get your hands on some low end soundfonts), and have benefits as well that WAV files do not.

One of the great benefits of soundfonts is that you can rely on one SF2 file format to create a completely rendered music instrument sound for use in your music instrumentals, rather than several WAV files.  Let me clarify.  Let's say for example, you want to use guitar samples in your next rap beats.  With WAV files, in order to best simulate the guitar you're aiming for, and to recreate the guitar instrument on your instrumental, you would have to load up several WAV files in your music production software, and then play your keys accordingly to simulate the guitar riff or guitar melody you want.  However, with a guitar soundfont, you would only need to load up the guitar soundfont you obtained, and you can play accordingly without having to load up many WAV files.  Also, some soundfonts have multiple hip hop samples and loops placed into one file, so that you are able to easily use the soundfont without having to load up several more samples.

Another benefit of Soundfonts is that they don't use as much RAM (memory) on your computer when you are creating beats or instrumentals in your music production software, whether it's FL Studio that you are using, Reason, Orion Pro, or any other program.  Using Virtual Instruments (VSTi's) can sometimes drain alot of PC memory, causing your computer to go slower the more programs are opened in your music production software.  But with Soundfonts, it would take opening up several before you start to feel your computer lag.

And, although WAV files are universal in most programs, Soundfonts are compatible with many different programs as well.  With FL Studio, soundfonts work using the FL Soundfont Player.  With Reason, you can load a soundfont up nicely into the Reason NN-XT plugin.  In Orion Pro, you can use their soundfont player.  With other programs like Cubase, Sonar, or similar music production software, you can load up a soundfont if you can find a soundfont plugin.  Most of these can be found for free on the internet doing a simple Google search.

Finally, soundfonts are easy to manage and to keep on your PC in a particular folder, and are easy to transport to other programs as well.  You can burn your soundfonts onto a CD or DVD and take them with you, whereas with VSTi music program synthesizers, that would be virtually impossible.  Soundfonts are easily used, and easily managed, and are of high quality.

So, the next time you are working on hip hop beats, rap instrumentals, r&b beats, movie scores, video game music, or any other types of beats or instrumentals, especially if you're working in FL Studio or Reason, and are in need of some sounds for beats or instrumentals, look for some soundfonts and try them out.  Whether you're in need of hip hop samples, piano samples, guitar samples, string sounds, bass samples, brass and horn sounds, world instrument sounds, or other types of music instrument sounds, you're sure to find soundfonts on the internet in a large variety of different sounds and samples.  Some of them are lower quailty, some of them are well created, where as some soundfonts are free and others have to be paid for, which is no different than going to a website and purchasing some hip hop samples in WAV format and only liking a couple of them, or liking most of them.  Some say soundfonts are dead, but on the contrary, they are very much alive and very useful if you know how to use them, and the right ones to use as well.  Don't overlook them, give them a chance.  You may be happy you did.

Choosing Unique Wedding Ceremony Music

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

The Power Of Three

Choosing Unique Wedding Ceremony Music

Making your wedding ceremony a true original can be as easy as choosing just
three special songs. This music is a reflection of you, your hopes and your
dreams. Seize this opportunity to give your guests an unexpected surprise
while sharing an important part of yourself with them.

While tradition still has its place, most Brides and Grooms are now choosing to
use non-traditional wedding ceremony music. Many of the old standbys, such
as Wagner's "Bridal Chorus" (Here Comes The Bride), are being replaced with
other alternatives. Those about to wed have requested Slow Rock, Love Songs,
Latin Guitar, New Age, Classic 40's Vocals, Pop Songs, Oldies and just about
everything else.

Choosing Your Songs

The first step is just to think of songs you like. You can edit your ideas later.
Make a short list of songs that relate to how you feel about love, commitment
and a special shared relationship. Feel free to consider all options. Once you've
made your list you can then edit it for potential Processional Song candidates.
Remember that in general, a Processional Song should have a slow cadence for
those walking down the aisle.

Choices have included songs by Nat King Cole, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Mark
Cohn, Peter Gabriel, Enya, The Beatles, Shania Twain, Vangelis, Aretha Franklin,
Van Morrison, Tony Bennett, Edwin McCain, Vangelis, Faith Hill, Etta James,
Sade and Soundtrack Songs. Your choices are virtually unlimited.

We custom edited Van Halen's "When It's Love" for one Bride who wanted the
instrumental part of the song for her Processional. Another Bride was a huge
Bruce Springsteen fan. She walked down the aisle to The Boss classic, "Thunder
Road".

If you want to stick to classical music, you may decide on something a little
more creative than the same old thing. Anyone who's been to a ceremony in
the last century has probably heard Pachelbel's "Canon In D".
Traditionally a string oriented song, there is an updated version that uses
flowing synthesizers and ethereal keyboards in place of strings. Its
progressive, modern sound sets it apart from other versions we've heard.
Search for different arrangements or unusual Classical songs to give your
ceremony a unique sound.

Here Comes The Bride

Should all the songs in your ceremony have a consistent sound or theme? Not
necessarily. A contrasting style between the Wedding Party Processional and
the Bride's song can emphasize this important change. An example of this was
when one couple chose an operatic, Andrea Bocelli piece for their Wedding
Party Processional. The song was full of drama and grand expression.

In stark contrast to this was their choice for the Bride's Processional. They
decided on the romantic and reflective acoustic guitar sound of "The Rain
Song" by Led Zeppelin. The pronounced difference in song styles increased the
poignancy of the Bride's appearance and the entire ceremony.

While these songs aren't for everyone, they reflected this couple's taste and
preferences. It also serves as a wonderful demonstration of the power of a
musical style change and original choices.

Classical instrumental still has its place. Recently a Bride chose a lesser known
classical piece for her walk down the aisle. "Variations on an Original Theme
(Enigma Variations) Op. 36" is a fantastic selection for this. It's a powerful song
that uses soaring strings and majestic horns to slowly build to its peak. We
edited it so that the crescendo of the song timed perfectly with the Bride's
appearance.

Another Bride-to-be chose "Once Upon a Time... Storybook Love" from the
movie The Princess Bride. The title track from Cirque du Soleil's "O" is another
captivating piece that many have fallen in love with. "Variations and Fugue On a
Theme by Mozart, Op. 132: Variation 7" is a traditional classical piece that is
rarely heard at ceremonies. The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's version is
breathtakingly elegant.

If you're going Classical for the wedding ceremony music, remember that there
may be quite a few different versions of many songs. It may take a little
research to find the perfect one but it is well worth the effort.

Recessional

The end of the ceremony Recessional is a time for joy and celebration. You will
walk triumphantly, back up the aisle, for the first time as a married couple. As
you pass by smiling, applauding guests, let the music add an extra highlight to
this moment. Your Recessional music should be upbeat and energetic. Again,
choices are plentiful. Past requests include Classical, Rock, Swing and R & B.

Songs by Vivaldi, Harry Connick, James Brown, U2, Barry White, Frank Sinatra,
Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Queen, Marvin Gaye and many others have
worked to great effect.

Where To Look For Music

If you have a favorite movie soundtrack or radio station, your perfect song may
be something you have already heard. Next time you hear a song that really
grabs you, make a note of it.

One of the best places to find unique musical ideas is right in your own CD
collection. Chances are there's a favorite song in there you may have forgotten
about that would be perfect. Browse through your music library and add to
your list of possibilities.

Do you have a favorite artist or concert performance? What was that old song
you loved when you were younger?

Is there a brand new song you really like? A newer song can be a refreshing
change from the status quo. And there is less chance anybody else has already
used it for their wedding.

Perhaps there is something in your family heritage you would like to
incorporate musically into the ceremony.

If you have a special moment in the ceremony for a candle lighting, rose
exchange, remembrance or other tradition, you may want to choose a song to
be played for this as well.

Samples of songs can be accessed via your computer on Apple's iTunes music
store website (The iTunes program is free and works with both Windows based
and Mac computers) and at Amazon.com. Barnes and Noble bookstores offer
live listening posts with thousands of artists from which to choose.

Putting It All Together

Write down all of your musical ideas and then gradually narrow it down to your
three favorites. The others can be played for the Prelude- prior to the
beginning of the ceremony, while guests are arriving or later at the
reception.

Contrasting music is good and emphasizes an important change in the
Processional. Be dynamic in your choices and create a new sound experience
for your guests.

Take the first step in making your wedding day truly YOURS by choosing songs
that express a bit of who you are. And don't be surprised if your guests
compliment you on how your ceremony was unlike any other they've been
to.

Picking a Beat Maker 101

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Loads of people love music and loads of people want to be able to make their own beats. Beats like the ones they hear on the radio and at the clubs. To make these beats you need to get yourself a beat maker.

Picking a Beat Maker 101

You shouldn't go out and buy the first beat maker you come across though as you want to pick on that's in your price range and has everything you need to start making beats.

Read on then to learn what to look for in a beat maker.

Did you know that there are two different types of beat maker? That's right there is a hardware based one and a software based one. Which one is the best?

The hardware based ones are the best and they are used by all the professionals in the music industry. BUT, yes there is a but! They are very expensive and come with so many features that as a beginner you will never actually use.

Because of that you should buy a software beat producer as they are much cheaper and will have the features that you, as a beginner will need. Don't go and buy any software beat producer though as some are better then others and you will want ones that:

- Come with sounds - A beat is just made up of a collection of sounds so of course you will need sounds to make beats. Now, you can make your own or buy them but both of them options are time consuming and expensive so bypass this by buying a beat making system that comes with loads of sounds.

- Hotkey Triggers - This allows you to press keys on your keyboard to do things on the software. Having hotkey triggers will make making beats much faster.

- Video Training - If the beat maker you are looking at doesn't offer video training then forget about buying it as it won't be worth the money. It's a deal breaker simply because there is nothing better than video to learn how to use the software.

- Export to 4.11 khz.wav - The software should be able to export your beat to many different audio formats so it can be played on other computers and on MP3 Players however one format it must be able to export to is 4.11 khz.wav as that's the industry standard if you want to sell your beats.

Now that you are armed with this knowledge you can now pick a good beat maker that will allow you to make wicked beats that are sure to impress your friends.

Sonic Producer - Program to Make Beats

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Planning to make your own beats but do not have the money to spend on expensive studio equipment? Then what you need is a computer program to make beats. You go it right; you can actually make beats on your computer with the help of music software.

Sonic Producer - Program to Make Beats

But before you go on a download frenzy, there are some factors that you need to think about before you decide to download a software program to make beats. Having the right kind of software can go a long way and can help you a lot in sharing your music to the world.

You will need to look for a computer program that is easy to use. As a beginner, you do not need complex controls that will only add to your confusion. What you need are basic features plus some advanced options that are all properly laid out in the control area. You will not need something that has excessively complex tools that will only slow your efforts down.

It helps to have a program that has a good range of samples and sounds. It can be frustrating to develop some catchy beat in your head but you will not be able to share it because your program does not have the sound that best describes the one that has been playing in your head. A large selection of sounds and sample can help a lot in increasing your creativity and you might just end up with a beat that sounds better than what you have thought.

One of the most important things you will need to remember is not to fall for expensive or high-priced software. A computer program to make beats that is priced expensively might be an indicator that it is meant for use by professionals. As a beginner, you just need a simple program that has the sound quality of a professional artist.

What is So Good About Sonic Producer? Making Your Own Beats?

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

There is a lot buzz lately of this music beats making software in the community as one of the innovative invention that allows everyone from total newbie to veteran beats maker to make their own high quality beats from the computer. You are right! The software I was talking about is Sonic Producer.

What is So Good About Sonic Producer? Making Your Own Beats?

Well, Sonic Producer has become an indispensable tool that helps me to create a variety of music beats with ease since I started using it a few months ago. Here are some of the goodies I love about this software.

The main Sonic Producer Software -This is the main software with a user friendly interface that can be easily controlled to produce high quality beats. The software also comes with some royalty free music beats to get you started and music Protools to make any editing a lot easier. You will also be allowed to access the members' only area to download quality music instruments and keyboard lessons to discover more ways to creating unique beats.

Sonic Producer Private Member Area - In the members' only area, you can also access to various music tutorials and hands on exercises such as chord charts, rhythm exercises and more. Besides, if you are stuck somewhere with the software you can always reach their support via email and expect a reply latest within 48 hours.

Sonic Producer Video Learning Tutorials & Documentation - I must confess that making my own beats has been my dream all this while but has never actually touches any type of beats making software. So I was really worried that I might not be able to create beats of my style using it. But I was wrong because the video tutorials and manual was so clear that I managed to create my own high quality beats the same day I use it. I am pleasantly surprised with the clear cut tutorials that detailed various aspects about beats making that could have take months and probably years to learn for some people.

Although Sonic Producer is relatively new in the beat making industry, it has received a lot of positive reviews already. I am sure you will be pleased to have it.

Hip Hop Software Takes Away the Headaches and Cranks Out Hot Beats for Beat Maker Newbies

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

My name is Bruce and I am a beat maker and I experienced all the frustrations that some beat makers may have experienced. I began making beats with a program that really was a pain in the butt to learn on. The entire interface was not built intuitively for the newbie producer and even if I was experienced it still felt like it was designed for an architect, not a beat maker. I struggled with this beat making software until a buddy of mine called me up and asked me if I wanted to keep leaving him annoying voice mails, or did I want to start fresh with a new beat making program that would get me started in the fast lane of cranking out scorching beats in less than an hour. He actually sent me a couple of.mp3's that woke me up like a fresh pot of french roast coffee.

Hip Hop Software Takes Away the Headaches and Cranks Out Hot Beats for Beat Maker Newbies

I couldn't take off my headphones because these beats were incredible. I immediately grabbed my cell phone and called my buddy and asked him "How do you produce like that, what's your secret?" He told me he uses no samples and all of his music was all from his digital sound kits that came with the beat making software he used. I was truly impressed, because he sounded very close to Just Blaze mixed with Dr. Dre and I am not exaggerating. He told me his secret was the ease of his beat making software. He told me the elements of his software was totally built for the newbie and experienced producer.

The drum machine is optimized for multi track usage and the keyboard is a six octave on-screen keyboard. The sound library is insane and the sounds are in lossless.wav 16 bit format not some shabby.mp3 files. The sounds in the sound kit library are all pre-mixed and pre-mastered. This software also comes with step by step tutorials that will guide you step by step on how to work the intricacies of the software and the simple processes of the D.A.W (Digital Audio Workstation). Listen I am not a good writer but I had to share this information with you. The cool software I am talking about is competing with the top names.

I have to say that this hip hop beat maker is an avatar of Dr. Dre and Just Blaze, perhaps an audio avatar of hip hop's top producers. There is only but so much you can do with software that puts you in the slow poke lane.

What would you rather have an 88 Datsun that is priced like A Ferrari 360 or do you want a genuine Ferrari that is priced like an 88 Datsun? It's a no brainer. Imagine selling your beats to two battle rap superstars, 4 record labels, and 6 artists! Beat Making is alive just like our favorite producers, get a life and dump that old software and come aboard and become the Captain of your beat making empire.

There is a huge demand for Hip Hop beats in the music market, their is so much junk out there. You cannot build junk with quality.wav pre mastered sounds. Gold only comes from Gold, but this is the audio alchemy you need to help you turn lead into gold. By the way, Alchemist is another dope Hip Hop producer. You will be able to hold listening sessions and have the heads of your clients furiously bopping there heads, ready to pass you cash for your hot beats.

Here Are 4 Reasons Why Sonic Producer Is Better Than Other Beat Makers

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

It is very difficult to find a good beat maker that actually makes quality beats that won't cost you, an arm and a leg. If you aspire to make your own beats, you can either invest 00's on studio equipment that you will have to spend months if not weeks to set up and master, or you can find a beat maker that allows you to make quality beats right from your computer.

Here Are 4 Reasons Why Sonic Producer Is Better Than Other Beat Makers

I took the latter route with Sonic Producer and was so excited about the results. It cost only the price of a pizza, but it is working wonderfully amazing. Now I can make awesome beats of whatever genre (rap, techno, hip hop) that I like right from my computer.

Now I wish to share some of the benefits that you can get with Sonic Producer.

1. User Friendly - The best thing about this beat making software is that it's very self intuitive. I was a complete novice in beat making but was able to make beats on my PC the same day of my purchase. You basically don't need to have any experience to start using it. And you don't need reading pages of manual or mastering complicated buttons like that of huge equipment, which is also physically bulky. However, Sonic Producer does come with detailed user manual and video tutorials.

2. Affordable - I love rap beats and have been longing to make my own for years. However, I didn't have enough cash to get the equipment to make beats until I found Sonic Producer. With the many functions, the software offers and an active forum with music producer from all over the world, the price is surprisingly cheap that no other beat maker can compete. Now, everybody can own a piece of this amazing software. It's so affordable!

3. Sounds Quality - I know beforehand that the beats need to have good sound quality. So, don't ever compromise on the sound quality for cheap price. But Sonic Producer is great. You can export all your beats that you have made into MP3 format with high end studio quality. That means, it sounds just like the industry standard is and not like the sound of the preloaded ringtone in your cell phone.

4. Highly customizable - You are not limited to any genre, but you can mix just about any genre you like. You just need to be a little creative and play around with the software and mix and remix your beats and come up with something you like. But the problem with most online beat makers is their limited editing functions. However, Sonic Producer as far as my experience can tell, has more than enough customization function like 16 tracks sequencer, ability to import beats from your computer into the software, drum kits, full functioning keyboard, tempo and BPM control, etc. to make truly unique beats of your own.

If you are serious about making your own beats that sound so good like that from studio equipment, I truly endorse this powerful beat making software - Sonic Producer. It will make your beat making venture a lot more fun and easy.

Bose Quiet Comfort 15 Vs Dr Dre Monster Beats

,
BEAT MUSIC MAKER :

Everyone wants top quality headphones to listen to their music, either on the go, work, or at home. Bose Quiet Comfort 15 and Dr. Dre Monster Beat headphones are two of top wireless headphones in today's industry, but which one is better? One is made by one of the best sound companies and the other is made by the legendary producer and rapper, Dr. Dre, of the hip hop industry, who would surely know things about how one would want their music to sound like.

Bose Quiet Comfort 15 Vs Dr Dre Monster Beats

Sound Quality

In the previous series of the Bose Quiet Comfort wireless headphones the sound quality was not that great at all, but the Qc15 is major improvement, with microphones on the inside and the outside of the cup to tremendously improve the sound and it also prevents outside noises that would distort the sound. The Monster Beat headphones have great sound too but they do not have the technology of the QC15 to block out the outside distraction of other sounds.

Comfort

The Monster Beats are not really that comfortable nor are they that flexible or bendable as QC15, which basically means that they are easier to break. The QC15 have around the ear-fit- cups that adjust to anyone's ear, making it easy to relax and just listen to your music or movie, they are foldable and come with a case so that you can protect your headphones, which causes you to worry less if you're going to break them.

Price

Price is everyone's major concern when it comes to buying the product even if the cheapest product is the one with the worse quality. I know that I have bought countless numbers of cheap headphones that only last me for a year or two. Both of these are both pricey pieces of equipment. The QC15 is about a hundred dollars cheaper than the MB, and they are well worth the price.

So the winner is... drum rolls... The "Bose Quiet Comfort 15"!
